I love events! It really is as simple as that for me. I love working with clients to help them achieve their event goals.
I’ve been very fortunate to have had a varied career, originally starting out in lighting for TV, outdoor events and theatre. However, too many winter days outdoors made me crave the warmth of a roof over my head, so after teaching myself some video editing skills I made the move to video production for corporate events.
So, now I get to enjoy learning about businesses and their thought processes, and working with my clients to help them communicate their messaging through video for their events.
Merging both my technical and site production experience with the communication skills I learned from editing, I eventually moved into a role as an Event Producer, where I would work with clients to help them find the best way to get their messaging across and achieve their event goals.
This meant consulting with clients on their overall event communication plans and helping formulate the structure of the event — be that through the agenda, branding, interactivity, entertainment, theming or video production; pretty much the whole creative event process.
After working in the industry for over 14 years I finally decided to set up my own company. Kierex Event Production was born out of a desire to offer a creative agency service that’s not afraid to be agile. Businesses have to move so fast in today’s markets, and they need an agency that can keep up with them.
